June 3, 2008 To Whom It May Concern: In April 2008 I had the pleasure of working with Michelle Heberle, co-founder of MAPS, the Montana Association of Paranormal Studies, and her crew on an investigation of the allegedly-haunted Lobby Bar in Great Falls. Prior to the investigation, Michelle and her team had interviewed current and former staff and patrons of the bar about their experiences. They had also done a great deal of research into the history of the building at the Great Falls Public Library and the Cascade County Historical Society. During the actual investigation, the team was careful to follow the protocols recommended by organizations such as the American Ghost Society and TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society). They showed great respect not only for the historic building but for its presumed ghostly residents. I have taken part in many investigations with dozens of groups and was very impressed by the professionalism and responsibility shown by Michelle Heberle and the other members of MAPS. To Whom It May Concern, I am very grateful to MAPS for the investigation of my home in April. Although they did not find any evidence to back up any paranormal activity in my house, they did offer natural occurrences that we had been confusing as a ghost. They also found carbon monoxide leaks as well as emf leaks in my home and alerted me to address the issue as soon as possible.
