To Whom It May Concern:
In April 2008 I had the pleasure of working with Michelle Heberle, co-founder of MAPS, the Montana Association of Paranormal Studies, and her crew on an investigation of the allegedly-haunted Lobby Bar in Great Falls. Prior to the investigation, Michelle and her team had interviewed current and former staff and patrons of the bar about their experiences. They had also done a great deal of research into the history of the building at the Great Falls Public Library and the Cascade County Historical Society.
During the actual investigation, the team was careful to follow the protocols recommended by organizations such as the American Ghost Society and TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society). They showed great respect not only for the historic building but for its presumed ghostly residents. I have taken part in many investigations with dozens of groups and was very impressed by the professionalism and responsibility shown by Michelle Heberle and the other members of MAPS.
Sincerely,
Karen D. Stevens

To whom it may concern,
The MAPS group requested access to the old Cascade County Jail to address possible
"occupation" of past visitors and inmates. The project went smooth and the Group was pleasant
to deal with and very professional. Iwould recommend and support any request by them for
this type project in your facilities. If you have questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Commissioner Lance Olson

To Whom It May Concern,
I am very grateful to MAPS for the investigation of my home in April. Although they did not find any evidence to back up any paranormal activity in my house, they did offer natural occurrences that we had been confusing as a ghost. They also found carbon monoxide leaks as well as emf leaks in my home and alerted me to address the issue as soon as possible. The whole time, the team acted as professionals and were 100% devoted to helping ease our minds. Should I need further assistance in the future, I know I can count on Michelle and her team.
Thank You,
Adrian Jones

To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure that I write this un-soliticed letter of reference for M.A.P.S.
After reading an article about this group in the Great Falls Tribune I contacted Michelle Heberle to see if they would be interested in investigating our business, Kranz Flowers & Gifts. We'd had many different people report of several “strange incidents” that they couldn't explain.
I was extremely impressed after my very first meeting with the group and my respect for their professionalism and knowledge grows more each day.
When they did their first investigation I was absolutely amazed at how organized the group was and how well they worked with each other. They spent an incredible amount of time with the actual investigation, the historical research, the hours of review of both audio & video, and the extensive education they gave me answering all my stupid questions!
They then returned to check and double-check all evidence they acquired to be 100% sure of the accuracy of the investigation before they revealed the results to me.
I wasn't too surprised with their findings (which was substantial to me) and then my only concern as to “what do we do about it now and how do we deal with it?” was also addressed. The group truly helped me to better understand the paranormal.
There are many new questions that we now have and I feel very blessed that M.A.P.S hasn't just dropped the ball and moved on to the next investigation but is willing to continue to work with me when necessary.
I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know this group and am proud to recommend them to others. I also feel that I've made many new friends which I will treasure for life!
Sincerely,
Rose Forbes,

To Whom It May Concern,
On October 15, 2008, the members of MAPS (Montana Association of Paranormal Studies) came to my home to investigate strange occurrences that had been taking place since we moved in to the house in July 2008.
I investigated with Michelle and Chris, founders of MAPS, and discovered them to be very professional, honest, forth coming and experienced. While I was jumping to conclusions, they were finding realistic answers. It is difficult for me to explain to someone what goes on and how I feel physically and emotionally when things I cannot explain happen. The members of MAPS were very attentive while listening to me, and did their best to understand what I was telling them about my experiences; regardless of how ridiculous they sounded!
We are still experiencing strange events and MAPS was able to pick up what sounded like voices, and some strange heat imaging videos; my intentions are to invite MAPS to return to my home and reinvestigate. I am confident in my referral of the MAPS team to anyone experiencing unexplained phenomenon in their home or business. I found Michelle, Chris, Debbie, Kenny, Heath and Wendy to be a great source of information and comfort.
Please accept this letter as a sincere referral for the MAPS team, everyone I have met and worked with from MAPS have been very experienced, smart, caring, understanding and accepting of what most would turn their head too.
Thank you,
Sarah Ibsen
